Watering Ban Lifted by BC Municipalities

After the heavy rainfall of recent days, Abbotsford and Mission are the first BC Lower Mainland municipalities to lift the watering ban. We expect to see more municipalities to follow suit soon. This is very good news for the many businesses that are in construction, horticulture, agriculture and related industries who have seen projects stalled, postponed or cancelled due to the phase 3 watering restrictions.

Abbotsford, Mission, … who is next?

Stage 2 of the joint Water Shortage Response Plan, allows residents in both communities to sprinkle their lawns twice a week in the morning, between 6 am and 8 am. Abbotsford and Mission Engineering Departments will begin issuing new lawn sprinkling permits next week.
