WTF Gives Back. Sponsors Victoria Gran Fondo Cycling Event

There’s nothing like walking on grass in your bare feet after a long bike ride. The team at Western Turf Farms loves being active in the great outdoors – it’s part of the job description. We also like having fun and giving back to our local community. That’s why we’ve chosen to sponsor the 270 km cycling adventure on Vancouver Island known as Victoria Gran Fondo (AKA VGF Doppio) happening on June 21!

The event is an amazing time for all participants, letting them experience “thick cedar forest, West Coast Ocean views, wildlife sightings (deer and bear) and idyllic rolling farms and wine country” – in other words, incredible scenery that shows off the best that this province has to offer.

We’ve already heard from some of our landscaper colleagues, contractor associates, sports field managers and fellow outdoorspeople from across the region who are taking part. We know a few folks with our golf course clients who are switching up a golf club for a bike (apparently, it’s a big trend in BC). To all of our old customers and new friends participating, we salute you for signing up for this real adventure!
